About the Role 

Being part of the sales department, a business developer assists the sales manager in detecting new projects in the engineering industry. A great BD is actively engaged in research and identifying potential clients, reaching out to prospects, maintaining client relationships, gathering information from customer and competitor data, and creating a competitive advantage to help the company generate more revenue.

Your Responsibilities:

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.

Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.

Client Engagement: Assist in managing client relationships, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations.

Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of business strategies to enter new markets and expand our reach.

Who We’re Looking For

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

Proactive Attitude: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

Technical knowledge: Engineering skills, experience in a lab, R&D, material science, IT or information system is a plus

Responsibility and Autonomy: Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Customer Service: Excellent customer service and account management skills.
